Nilofar Mehrin Namazie is a visual artist . She studied at Saint Martin’s School of Art in London during the 1980s, before pursuing literature at the University of Florence, Italy — a combination that continues to inform the narrative and poetic quality of her work.

Between 1998 and 2005, she maintained an atelier on Via Fiesolana in Florence, immersed in the city’s rich artistic tradition. Since then, her work has been exhibited internationally, including shows in Florence, Venice, Dubai, Karachi, and Frankfurt am Main (2018), with her most recent exhibition held in Los Angeles (2022).
